The new Ford Focus RS is set to become Ford’s hottest hatch, and anticipation is high. And now, with production having just begun, the wait, for European customers at least, won’t be too much longer.

The first cars have began to roll down the production line at Ford’s Saarlois facility in Germany.

The new rocket from Ford joins the Fiesta ST, Focus ST, Mustang, and GT in a performance line-up that’s expected to pull 41,000 sales in 2016, up from 29,000 in 2015.

To celebrate the start of Focus RS production, Ford has released a video featuring former Stig, Ben Collins, demonstrating the four different drive modes of the Focus RS: Normal, Sport, Track, and Drift.
