BMW To Collaborate With Intel On Autonomous Technology

BMW would appear to be about to join the race in developing self-driving cars.

But, according to reports, it won’t tackle the task alone, turning to computer chip manufacturer Intel and collision detection software specialist Mobileye to assist with its autonomous vehicle development.

Despite no official announcement of the project, the three companies are expected to hold a joint press conference soon, with key heads from each company expected to attend.
