BMW 2002 Hommage Concept Gives The 2 Series Coupe A Retro Twist

Once again BMW has rolled out a retro-themed concept to take to the grass of the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, near Lake Como, Italy - this time taking cues from the 2002 Turbo which debuted in 1973.

The introduction of the original 02 series of vehicles kick-started BMW’s reputation as a builder of quality, fun-to-drive vehicles, starting with the 1602 in 1966 and later growing to include the 2002 range, which was introduced to meet the needs of the US market.
