More powerful than the 'regular' TT RS, faster and more dynamic, the Plus model enters as a final run for the current TT range.
The Plus is driven by by the same 2.5 litre five-cylinder turbo engine that hauls the TT RS, but gains an extra 15kW and 15Nm to make 265kW and 465Nm of torque.
Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system is standard - as it is with all RS models - and a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission is the only shifting option available.
Audi promises a blistering 0-100km/h time of 4.1 seconds, making the TT RS Plus around 0.5 seconds quicker than the TT RS.
Top speed is a heady 280km/h, and fuel consumption is listed at 8.5 l/100km.
The TT RS Plus weighs in at 1475 kilograms, giving a power-to-weight ratio of 5.6 kilograms per kilowatt.
Setting the RS Plus apart from its RS stablemate is a black-and-red design for the 19-inch five-spoke wheels, wrapped in 255/35 rubber at all four corners.
