Another chapter in the chequered history of German brand Artego kicked-off at the Geneva Motor Show with the unveiling of the Scalo Superelletra electric sports car.

The name blends the Italian terms for ‘super light’ and ‘electric’ and in terms of styling, Artega’s latest creation certainly looks the part.

Technology sounds impressive with no less than four electric motors (two driving the front wheels and two driving the rears). Artega is claiming combined output of 760kW/1620Nm.

That translates into zero to 100km/h in 2.7 seconds (same as the Tesla Model S P100D) and a top speed of 300km/h.
