ANCAP: 5-Star Safety Result For Kia Pro_Cee’d GT

Kia’s new sports hatch, the Pro_Cee’d GT, has boosted its appeal this week with news of a top 5-Star safety rating.

Based on tests carried out by sister organisation Euro NCAP, the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) this week confirmed the 5-Star rating for the local market.

ANCAP reports that driver and passenger chest protection in the frontal offset crash test was acceptable, as was leg protection. Protection in side pole testing also scored well, achieving the maximum two points.
