2018 Volvo S60 And V60 Polestar Update Revealed Overseas

Volvo’s performance arm, Polestar, has wheeled out updated versions of its S60 sedan and V60 wagon mid-sizers for the 2018 model year.

The biggest change centres around aerodynamics, with the facelifted models claiming downforce increased by a substantial 30 percent compared to the outgoing versions, thanks to data gained from Volvo’s participation in the World Touring Car Championship.

The restyled exterior flaunts a deep new front splitter, extended side sills, and an extended rear spoiler all fashioned from carbon fibre to ensure a minimal weight penalty.
