Jaguar has given a disguised first look at the car set to become the most powerful road car in the British automaker’s history, the XE SV Project 8.
Built by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), the Project 8 will feature a 441kW version of Jaguar’s supercharged 5.0-litre V8, giving it more than enough horsepower to out-grunt the 331kW BMW M3 and 375kW Mercedes-AMG C 63 S.
Details of other mechanical changes are yet to be disclosed, but Jaguar’s official 'spy shots' reveal wider bodywork with bulging rear wheel arches, a vented bonnet, new front and rear bumpers, and a huge adjustable rear wing on the bootlid.
