2016 Range Rover Sport Joins Airbag Recall List

Jaguar Land Rover has announced that a small number of its 2016 Range Rover Sport SUVs will be added to its previously announced recall efforts.

Vehicles produced between the 20th of September 2016 and the 25th of October 2016 are affected by this latest recall action.

The recall concerns an incorrect airbag propellant mix ratio for the front passenger airbag, which may lead to a failure of the airbag to inflate in an accident, leading to an increased risk of occupant injury.

Jaguar Land Rover will contact owners of affected vehicles to arrange replacement of the passenger airbag unit, but any owners wishing to know more are urged to contact their local Land Rover dealer.
