2015 SUBARU OUTBACK

Recent reports suggest Subaru will no longer offer a wagon version of its Liberty midsizer, revealed last week in its new sixth-generation sedan body.

Instead, it is believed that Subaru will direct wagon drivers to options either side of the Liberty: the smaller Levorg, and a new version of the high-riding Outback.

(Although reports elsewhere suggest this is specific to the US market only, with others - including Australia - still likely to see a new Liberty wagon.)

Historically, the Outback has been a jacked-up and ruggedised Liberty wagon, but if reports of that model’s demise prove true, we could soon see a markedly different look to the Outback.
