Bullet-proof 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Guard Previewed

Mercedes-Benz is preparing to add the new S-Class model to its ‘Guard’ super-security range, with the new variant previewed this week.

Besides S-Class levels of luxury, the Guard offers up to ‘VR7’ levels of protection against military weapons that can “travel twice as fast as bullets fired from a revolver”.

The new luxury Guard is due to be hand-built alongside the S-Class Pullman, joining Guard versions of the E-Class, G-Class and M-Class.
