2014 Renault Megane GT220 Hatch: Price And Features For Australia

Renault’s Megane GT220 ‘hot wagon’, still fresh after its local debut last July and now facelifted this week, has been given a hatch-backed sibling.

Entering as a rival to the likes of Volkswagen’s Golf GTI, the GT220 hatch is driven by the same 2.0 litre turbo engine powering the mad-hat Megane RS.

In the GT220, the turbo engine’s output has been detuned from 195kW/360Nm in the new RS 265 to a still tasty 162kW (220hp) and 340Nm.
