MINI Australia has added a new entry model to its Cooper hatch range this week, introducing the ‘MINI One’ that debuted overseas in February.

Entering below the regular $26,650 Cooper model - already $5000 cheaper than its predecessor - the One again cuts the price of entry by a further $2150.

MINI says the new model’s price, which brings the Cooper below Audi’s (5-door) A1 hatch and within cooee of the cheapest Alfa Mito ($22,500), is the lowest it’s been since the brand’s re-launch in 2002.
