Although it was officially previewed to select customers late last year, Koenigsegg has only recently confirmed the existence of its mid-grade Agera S model.
Sitting between the "base model" Agera and the flagship Agera R, the S is designed to be sold in in markets where ethanol-blended E85 fuel is either scarce or unavailable - principally Asia.
With the engines of the Agera and Agera R specifically tuned to take advantage of the higher octane of E85 fuel, the Agera S has a peak power output roughly ten percent lower than that of the R.
Still, with its 5.0 litre twin-turbo V8 churning out 757kW of power and a mighty 1099Nm of torque this is still one impressively muscular hypercar. Output-wise, it's also pretty much right in the middle of the 716kW Agera and the 850kW Agera R.
The Agera S demolishes the 0-100km/h sprint in a scant 2.9 seconds, and top speed is said to be in excess of 400km/h.
