Chevrolet's next-generation C7 Corvette has been spied once more, but this time, it's in a video game.
Wearing the same heavy camo it's been spied with on the Nurburgring, the car has surfaced in the demonstration section of hit racing game Gran Turismo 5.
It doesn't appear immediately, however: gamer '1320edwinpr' needed 30 minutes of re-visiting the demo room before the new Corvette appeared. (See the video above.)
As with our earlier spy photos, the car shown here confirms that the next model's styling will be evolutionary, rather than revolutionary.
The Corvette's centrally-mounted quad exhaust tips remain, as do the signature four round taillamps and the general long-nosed, short-rumped silhouette of the current model.
These photos suggest, however, that there will be some crucial dimensional changes for the C7, with more length ahead of the A-pillar and a longer, more tapered glasshouse at the rear.
The wheelbase also appears to have grown, which should aid straight-line stability. However, that's at odds with GM Vice President of Global Design Ed Welburn's statement that the next-gen Corvette would be smaller than the current model.
