Mercedes-Benz has released new pricing and details for its upcoming 2014 E-Class range, revealed at January's Detroit Auto Show.

Set to launch in Sedan and Estate wagon from June, the updated E-Class range brings new styling, more features and sharpened pricing.

Mercedes says it has delivered significant savings for buyers, from a $7000 advantage with the E 200 through to $23,000 for the E 250 CDI Estate.

“There has been a lot of discussion and opinion that the large car segment is less relevant to the Australian new car purchaser. We don’t accept this assertion," Mercedes-Benz Australia boss Horst von Sanden said.
