2013 Foton Tunland Previewed Further Ahead Of November Australian Debut

The Australian media launch of Foton's new Tunland pickup is slated for later this year, but keen buyers can get into a showroom for a test drive this month, distributor FAA Automotive Australia has confirmed.

You'll need to be in either Brisbane or Perth, though, with both cities currently the only hosts of dealerships that are carrying Tunland demonstrators. 

FAA Automotive Australia says Brisbane's Motorworld Queensland has top-spec testers on display now, while Perth Motorsport will get its allocation in the coming week.

The models available to drive are the 4x4 Luxury dual-cab variant, driven by a 120kW/380Nm 28 litre Cummins turbodiesel, mated to a Getrag five-speed manual transmission.

“Production of the first shipment of production-line Tunlands is now underway and all going to plan, the vehicles will arrive on Australian soil in November," FAA's Rod James said.
