Images of Porsche's all-paw 911 variant have surfaced online this week, just weeks out from its Paris Motor Show debut.
Revealed here in coupe and convertible form, the all-wheel-drive 4 and 4S models continue the evolutionary look of the new 911 range revealed last year.
Full details have not been revealed, but we can likely expect the new cars to feature the same engines powering the 'regular' rear-wheel-drive models.
The 4 should be driven by the direct-injected 3.4 litre flat-six found in the normal Carrera, producing 257kW and 390Nm of torque.
In the 4S, expect the bigger direct-injected 3.8 litre flat-six that puts out 294kW and 440Nm in the Carrera S.
Porsche's seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission will feature, as will the brand's new seven-speed manual option.
In rear-wheel-drive form, the Carrera lists a 0-100km/h time of 4.6 seconds with the PDK, while the Carrera S will get there in 4.3 seconds. Add the Sport Plus pack, and those times drop to 4.4 and 4.1 seconds respectively.
Both '4'-badged cars will list heftier kerb weights however, with the all-wheel-drive layout adding bulk to the package.
Watch for more details on both cars, including local launch timing and pricing, in the coming weeks.
