Even if you own the Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series, for some people a stock ride just won't cut it.  American Tuners Vorsteiner agree entirely and have taken to the 'nasty' CLK Black to create the 'super-nasty' Black Widow.

In standard trim (if you can call it that), the Black Series is already a sinister bit of gear both visually and mechanically. Vorsteiner has gone one step better in the looks department by creating its own light-weight carbon-fibre front and rear spoiler components.

The CLK AMG DTM race-car inspired front and rear mods drastically improve the CLK's down-force and aerodynamics - the Black Widow was tested at over 320km/h.

Vorsteiner has not finished the project just yet. Mechanically there have been no changes, with the CLK's V8 still producing the same 378kWs and 630Nms as seen in 'stock' form. This won't last of course. Vorsteiner is working away on ECU and exhaust upgrades to coax more power from the already monstrous mill (who are we to complain?).

When the starting point is the CLK 63 AMG Black Series, there's little doubt that the end result will be something special. Vorsteiner's Black Widow is just that. We love it... just a small matter of cost may be a stumbing block.
