Subaru's Liberty and Outback models are rolling into the Australian market's 2011 model year with the most modest of updates, gaining Bluetooth connectivity across the range.

Subaru's Liberty and Outback models are rolling into the Australian market's 2011 model year with the most modest of updates, gaining Bluetooth connectivity across the range.
Previously, the technology was available only with selected models, but the addition of Bluetooth connectivity with the entry-level Liberty 2.5i and Outback 2.5i models rounds out the line-up.
“It’s a logical progression to include this increasingly popular feature across all models in our Liberty and Outback line-ups," Subaru Australia MD Nick Senior said.
“It continues our commitment to steadily refining our specifications with the start of every new model year.”
Beyond the Bluetooth update, the Liberty and Outback ranges remain unchanged for 2011, drawing power from the same 2.5 litre naturally aspired and turbo petrol engines, along with the 3.6 litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The Outback is also available with a 2.0 litre diesel engine.
In Australia, sales for the Liberty range are up 27 percent over the same period last year, while sales for the Outback have increased by a significant 80 percent.
