Mitsubishi Australia Launches New Lancer Evolution Bladerunner-Inspired TV Commercial

MITSUBISHI AUSTRALIA has today launched a new television commercial featuring the Lancer Evolution "as it has never been seen before".

The commercial features an entirely computer-generated Evolution and a backdrop that Mitsubishi says was inspired by the popular science fiction film Bladerunner.

While the featured Evo is a computer-fiction, some live action footage was used in the car's recreation for enhanced accuracy and realism.

“The Mitsubishi team and Resin [the ad's producers] have combined our ideas and efforts to come up with something really special here," Paul Unerkov, Mitsubishi Australia Vice President of Brand Management said.

"To be able to recreate this stunning vehicle with such technical accuracy, and to simulate the movements and abilities of this high performance vehicle, all in CGI, is incredible.”
