Grand entrance or an effort to keep the mileage down on one of the World’s rarest supercars? Lamborghini employed the services of the Italian military to fly one of its 20 limited production run super expensive Reventons to a conference in Turin yesterday.

The conference was part of the “Turin 2008 – World Design Capital” and was hosted by Lamborghini. The subject matter was “Lamborghini and speed – a project in record time” , which was a look at how Lamborghini were able to design and develop the Reventon so quickly.

Now that we know the whole story it seems quite reasonable to fly a Reventon onto the rooftop of the Lingotto building in Turin. The fact that most other manufacturers would have just driven to the front door seems somehow…wrong.
