From deep within Hyundai and Kia's hefty list of stylish models not offered in Australia, comes a set of leaked images this week that reveal the updated-for-2011 Kia Pro Cee'd.

In its regular five-door form, the Kia Cee'd has been available in Europe since 2006. Earlier this year, the Cee'd scored some international recognition when the television series Top Gear chose the five-door as its 'Reasonably Priced Car'.

As a sportier three-door option, the Pro Cee'd made its motor show debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2007, going on sale in early 2008. As with its five-door sibling, the Pro Cee'd is only available in Europe.

As with all new Kia offerings, the Pro Cee'd is set to get an update in 2011, gaining the company's new corporate 'Schreyer Line' grille, along with sharp new headlights and a significantly sportier front bumper.

With no official information being revealed until next year, little else is known about the updated Pro Cee'd - including whether we might at last see a right-hand-drive offering in Australia.

With the similar-sized Cerato already available here in both sedan and hatch form however, a local debut for the Cee'd range is unlikely.
