Ford Verve Concept gets four doors

The Guangzhou Motor Show seems to be the place to unveil small sedans. Yesterday we showed you the Mazda2 sedan and news overnight has Ford whipping the covers off the four-door version of the stunning Verve concept, shown earlier this year in hatch-back guise.

Losing none of its perfect proportions in the translation from hatch-back to sedan, the four-door Verve is an impressively styled machine. Featuring Ford of Europe’s kinetic design cues, there is plenty of Mondeo to be seen in the Verve's styling.

The Verve sedan is the second of three expected Verve concepts, the final one being an Americanised version that will debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2008.

Rumour has it that the Verve in production trim will be the next Fiesta.
