The iconic Italian sports car brand showcased its GTC4 Lusso T in Sydney today, just months after its world premiere at the Paris motor show in September and ahead of first local deliveries in mid 2017.
The sleek four-seat coupe is the first Ferrari
model to offer two different engine and drivetrain options within the same body style. The T denotes this is the turbo charged V8 model that sits under the flagship V12 variant, which is exclusively offered with an all- egged drive transmission whereas the T has a more conventional rear-wheel drive set-up - although it features rear-wheel steering to improve high speed stability and its overall cornering ability.
The V8 is the same 3.8-litre twin-turbo unit used in the California T convertible and mid-engines 488 models, producing 449kW of power and 760Nm of torque - which is enough to slingshot it from 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds while consuming a claimed average of 11.6L/100km.
