New Russian coachbuilder E-Go has released details on its upcoming Revolt supercar and despite what the name implies, this is not a hybrid or electric vehicle (thank god). Packing some serious punch beneath its sensuous sheet-metal, the Revolt looks to have all bases covered - on paper at least.

A 3.0L twin turbo V6 engine will supply the push while six and four-piston brakes, front and rear respectively, will rein in the Revolt. A Mitsubishi-sourced platform will provide the underpinnings but there's no information as to the specifics just yet. Given the apparent dimensions and engine configuration, we're thinking a Mitsubishi GTO (3000GT) may have been the donor vehicle.

On the features list are 19-inch wheels with 325/30 rubber on the rear, active air suspension and a steering wheel mounted LCD touch-screen. The LCD will allow complete control of the vehicle's adjustable systems and will likely be the centre-piece of the interior.

There's no word on pricing nor availability but expect the RRP to reflect the car's credentials. E-Go claims to already be building Revolts, which makes us wonder why they supplied only rendered images. If the supercar does make it to market with the aforementioned specs and aesthetics, then this will be one E-Go even Sigmund Freud would be proud of.
