FOLLOWING LAST MONTH'S reveal of the 2010 Cadillac CTS Coupe, GM is set to unveil two new cars at next month's Detroit Auto Show: one the CTS-V Coupe, the other a new concept, and neither likely to appear locally.

The look of the CTS-V Coupe, while not yet revealed, can be easily guessed at by merging the aggressive body kit of the CTS-V Sedan with the body of the Coupe. The new concept, however, has so far been only partially revealed in the above teaser image.

Continuing the vertical headlight and giant chrome grille styling of Cadillac's existing line-up, the concept appears to be a four-door model that, if nothing else, previews the next evolution in Cadillac's design language.

According to Cadillac, the new concept "avances the brand's Art & Science philosophy," pointing to earlier concepts such as the Cadillac Sixteen, CTS Coupe Concept and the Converj as examples.

While no technical details have been offered for either model, the CTS-V Coupe is likely to utilise the same 415kW supercharged 6.2 litre V8 found in the sedan version.
