VOLVO HAS LET SLIP the first video of its upcoming 2011 S60 sedan on its Facebook page, showing the shapely Swede in close-up detail.

There's no shots of the interior, but we can see that the Volvo S60's body is the most dynamic interpretation of Volvo's modern styling language to date.

Curved 'light tubes' accentuate the shape of the taillamps, the LED front indicators form menacing eyebrows over the headlamp lenses and the slight bulges of each fender imparts a hint of muscularity to what is otherwise a clean, businesslike (and very Nordic) form.

The video is only available on Volvo's facebook page for now (you can check it out here), but the Swedish marque plans to put it up on Youtube at the stroke of midnight tonight - a move which the company hopes will make it the first automotive video to be uploaded in 2010.

Volvo Australia says the S60 is expected to land in Australia in November 2010, however price and mechanical specification have yet to be determined. A wagon version (the V60) will arrive in early 2011.

The production version of the 2011 Volvo S60 is slated to make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 4, 2010.
