2011 Chrysler 300C Interior Revealed

Following the release last month of new teaser images - photos that followed TMR's own tell-all spy photos the month before - a new image has found its way online, revealing one trim of the new 2011 Chrysler 300C's interior.

Where the cabin of the current and outgoing first-generation 300C offered a spartan and almost utilitarian style, the 2012 model's interior is, if not revolutionary, clearly a more modern and luxury-minded environment.

As with most offerings in the large luxury segment, the new 300C will feature leather throughout, along with lashings of aluminium highlights and an abundance of wood panelling. 

A large touch-screen dominates the centre stack, offering the same functions as those offered with the updated Dodge Journey, due in Australia from early 2012.

Chrysler remains mum on the specifics for the new 300C, although its 260kW/528Nm 5.7 litre Hemi V8 and the new 3.6 litre Pentastar V6 petrol engine are expected to power the range.

Launch dates for the new 300C have yet to be revealed. While a Detroit Auto Show debut in January is probable, an unveiling at next week's Los Angeles Auto Show is not out of the question.
