SUZUKI AUSTRALIA has announced the availability of its updated DR650SE dual-purpose motorcycle, which now comes in black or white and receives new graphic treatments.

Designed to perform just as well on tarmac as it does off it, the DR650SE utlises a 644cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine to produce its power.

Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material (SCEM) coated aluminium engine cylinders offer increased durability, weight savings and better cooling performance than ordinary iron liners, and a 40mm Mikuni carburettor improves responsiveness.

An electric starter is standard, and a five-speed manual gearbox is the only transmission choice. Braking is handled by a 290mm floating disc brake with 2-piston caliper on the front, and a 240mm rear disc brake with a 2-piston caliper on the rear wheel.

Available nationwide now for $8,090 (before on-road costs), the 2010 Suzuki DR650SE also comes with a two-year, unlimited kilometre warranty.
