Jaguar has announced the latest addition to its local line-up in the form of the 2010 Jaguar XK Coupe 75th Anniversary Edition. Coming in at a price point just over $30,000 more affordable than the regular XK, this special edition is exactly that.

Joining the more hardcore XKR 75th Anniversary Edition, the limited XK is powered by the same 283kW/515Nm 5.0 V8 that powers the regular XK tested by TMR earlier this month.

The XK 75th Anniversary Edition is available in three colours - Indigo Blue, Ultimate Black and Liquid Silver - with 20-inch 'Kalimnos' five-speed alloy wheels, and a chrome finish to the side power vents and tailpipe finishers.

Special '75 Years' badging is featured inside, along with the usual XK fitout: soft-grain leather trim with contrasting stitch, 16-way heated and cooled seats, and a premium Bowers & Wilkins audio system.

Priced at $193,500 (plus on-road costs), only 10 examples will be offered in Australia.

"Apart from being an incredibly competitive price point, the price also signifies the year in which the first Jaguar car was sold - 1935. The new XK Coupe 75th Anniversary Edition celebrates, alongside the exciting XKR Special Edition, 75 years of Jaguar, as well as the company's return to Le Mans", Jaguar Australia's General Manager Kevin Goult said.
