2010 BMW 3 Series Gets New Model Grades For Australia

BMW AUSTRALIA has today announced two new model grades for the 2010 BMW 3 Series Sedan and Touring bodystyles.

For the 320i, 320d Executive and the six-cylinder 323i, the standard specification levels are now the 320i Lifestyle, 320d Lifestyle and the 323i Lifestyle.

Moving up the range, the standard specification for the 325i and the 330d is now 325i Exclusive and 330d Exclusive.

The high-powere335i Sedan and Touring are now the 335i M Sport, while the range-topping V8-powered M3 is now available with BMW's new Competition Package.

The Lifestyle models feature 17-inch alloy wheels, door sill finishers with 'Edition' motif, 'Chrome Line' exterior package, and a chrome-finished decorative bar in the lower front apron.

For the Exclusive variants, the additional equipment includes Star-spoke 339 17-inch light alloy wheels, the door sill and chrome highlights of Lifestyle models plus fine wood trim in Bamboo Grain, anthracite, and steering wheel inlay in Pearl Grey. For the Touring model the roof rails now have an attractive aluminium satin finish.

The Lifestyle models can be optioned with features from the Exclusive variants (through the Exclusive Innovations Package), including Bi-Xenon headlights with headlight washer system, High-Beam Assist and Navigation System Business.

The BMW M Sport Package has been combined with the Innovations Package, and along with the 320i, 320d, 323i and 325i, is now available with the BMW 330d Sedan and Touring models.

Depending on the model grade, M Sport Innovations Package features include Bi-Xenon headlights, Harmon/Kardon Surround Sound and Navigation System Professional.

Inside, all models are finished in Dakota Leather available in a variety of colours, with standard dash and door trims finished in black high gloss for the Lifestyle variants and Fine-wood trim Bamboo Grain, Anthracite is standard for the Exclusive variants.

The M3 Competition Package includes Y-spoke 359M 19-inch M alloy wheels, M Drive, EDC with Sport Mode and DSC with Drive Dynamics settings.

Pricing

The Manufacturer’s Recommended List Price (MRLP) for the new BMW 320i Lifestyle starts from $55,300, and both the 320d Lifestyle and 323i Lifestyle from $59,100. 

The new BMW 325i Exclusive starts from $76,150 and the 330dExclusive from $90,150.

The MRLP of the new BMW 335i M Sport rises by $3,000 over the former discontinued model, and is now $110,800 for the Sedan and $115,200 for the Touring. All prices are exclusive of dealer delivery and on-road costs.
