Despite having already weathered several leaks of the 2009 MX-5's facelifted form, Mazda is still holding out on releasing more detailed imagery of the plucky lil' roadster on its various press sites.

Not to worry though, thanks to the folks at KM77.com we can now lay our eyes on even more leaked pics of the zippy drop-top, this time showing the 2009 MX-5 from all angles inside and out.

Aside from the newer and 'happier' frontal treatment, fatter fender flares and pointier headlights, there's not much else to differentiate the 2009 model from the current one. Power is reportedly the same for both the 1.8-litre and 2-litre engines, however engine internals have apparently been upgraded to increase efficiency and response, while new intake plumbing is expected to beef-up the engine note.

The six-speed manual benefits from carbon-coated synchronisers on the first four gears, while the suspension has been revamped to sharpen up the handling. There are other smaller detail changes also expected, like the addition of an auxiliary input for the stereo and thicker insulation in the retractable hard top.

We'll be able to tell you more once Mazda decides to actually make some kind of official announcement about the car. Enjoy the excessively watermarked pics.
