Continuing a North American tradition, Saab North America has announced the release of a Yellow Edition 9-3 Convertible, just in time for summer. Now, not all cars look good with bright yellow coachwork but the 9-3 Convertible is an exception – it looks stunning.
The 2008 Saab 9-3 Yellow Edition Convertible is the third ‘Yellow Edition’ released by Saab, following on from the 1991 and 1997 editions. Based on the 2.0T 9-3 the Yellow Edition benefits from a few added extras, including unique Aero style 17-inch alloy wheels, rear boot-lid spoiler, premium audio system and of course the dazzling Lynx Yellow paintwork.
On the inside, the 2008 Yellow Edition features the same standard equipment as the normal drop top 2.0T, including XM radio and OnStar.The 2008 Saab Convertible Yellow Edition has a MSRP of $US42,830, including destination charges which equates to a $US3,000 premium over the standard 9-3 Convertible. More of a deal for the person who puts yellow ahead of value.
