Mazda has announced some across the board retail price cutting on its handsome Mazda6 range. Reductions of between $1,750 and $3,920 have been made depending on the model.
The new Mazda6 range now kicks off at $27,990 for the Limited sedan, making it $1,750 better value. At the top of the range the Mazda6 Luxury Sports hatch is now priced at $42,990 with Activematic transmission, delivering a $3,920 windfall to new car buyers.
"We're making it even easier for Australians to enjoy the Zoom-Zoom delights of owning a Mazda6," said Mazda Managing Director Doug Dickson.
If you have already purchased the latest generation Mazda6 you are probably feeling a little miffed at this news. To ease the pain, Mazda has also announced a 'goodwill package' for current owners.
"We will reward existing Mazda6 owners for their loyalty with a goodwill package consisting of free scheduled maintenance, or free scheduled maintenance and an extended warranty, which effectively reduces the cost of ownership."
