2009 Renault Megane Coupe Spotted In The Wild

French motoring blog L’Auto Journal has come across this shot of what is clearly the 2009 Megane Coupe, loitering somewhere in the French capital, ahead of its reveal at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.

Unlike the images in our 2009 Megane Coupe post earlier this week, the model snapped above is most likely to be the RS version.  Visually, the differences are obvious enough: A prominent diffuser surrounds a single large exhaust tip protruding from its centre, and large 19-inch rims sit nestled neatly under the lowered body.

The new Megane Coupe takes on a more conventional, stylish design-language, leaving behind the intriguing and unique booty of the current model that must surely have been a nightmare for Renault’s marketing team.

We reckon they’ll be happy with this one.

Looks fantastic, but by the looks of the size the C-pillar reward vision would be poor, and the rear window looks tiny.

It would be akin to looking through a keyhole for reward traffic. Very clean lines though, and the rear exhaust that's centre mounted into the diffuser suggests it means buisness.
