Images of the upcoming Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback and Lancer Sportback Ralliart, destined for their official unveiling at the Paris Motor Show, have surfaced online today. We’ve all more or less seen it already, but now we know for sure.
The Sportback’s base will be powered by a 1.5 litre and 1.8 litre petrol four cylinder, and a 2.0 litre turbo diesel.
The Sportback Ralliart—running the AWD system from the previous Evolution IX—will be pushed along by a four cylinder 2.0 litre turbo MIVEC engine making 176.81kW and 321Nm or torque.
That’s not all though, as the Ralliart will also pack the same twin-clutch SST transmission found in the Evolution X, as well as an Active Centre Differential.
The Sportback is expected to land in Europe in the coming months, but no official word yet on when we should see it here in Australia.
