Honda Australia has announced an exciting new colour scheme for the CBR600RR and it’s available now, through Dealers nationally. The limited edition version features a Pearl Sunbeam White with Graphite Black and Italian Red paint scheme.
The CBR600RR is, according to Honda, one of its most popular sports bikes and the 2008 model brings with it a bunch of improvements, in addition to the new paint work.
Â
For 2008, Honda has literally gone back to the drawing board, ditching the old engine, frame and bodywork (see, I wasn’t exaggerating). Additional features include a stainless steel four-into-one exhaust, with an inline exhaust valve to control exhaust pressure for maximum performance.
A new intake-air control valve (IACV) minimises torque reaction and smoothes response to small throttle changes, through gradual reductions of air and fuel intake when the throttle is opened and closed.
As a result, the ‘08 model is smaller, lighter and more powerful (we all know that combining those three revisions will produce the automotive equivalent of fireworks). The CBR600RR, now boasts a class-leading power to weight ratio and even more impressive performance.
The limited edition ‘Tri’ colour CBR600RR is available for $15,290 plus on road costs.
