The Corvette ZR1 may have been rolled by the Viper ACR at the Nurburgring recently, but that doesn’t mean it’s hanging its head in Europe - far from it in fact.
The fastest-ever production Corvette has recently arrived in Germany, in production trim and ready for the European press to get a taste of some modern American Muscle. Its ultimate destination is the High Speed shoot out held in Nardo, Italy.
In the meantime, the Germans who took delivery have taken the ZR1 out on the Autobahn for a shakedown run. No doubt duty bound to look after the only prdoction ZR1 in Europe, they let it warm-up before first hitting the ‘bahn - even stopping for a second ‘walk-around’ and general check-over, before taking the ZR1 back out and nailing 300km/h.
