In 2001, Peugeot brought us its best-known coupe cabriolet, the 206 CC. Now, seven years on and with the 207 CC and 307 CC under its belt, the French automaker is bringing the new 308 CC to the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney, only one week after its global debut at the Paris Motor Show.

Peugeot says that the 308 CC represents a unique and genuinely attractive option for “enthusiasts of lifestyle motoring”, building on the strengths of the 308 range while also embodying the the spirit of the 307 CC.
One of the more luxurious features of the 308 CC is the Airwave system; a built-in warm air heating system in the front seats which acts like a scarf, directing warm air around the occupant’s shoulders and neck.

The 308 CC will be available in Australian showrooms from April 2009.

Looks a lot better driving away from you than it does driving at you. Not sure about this one.
You’re not wrong David. I’ve been struggling to find an analogy for the face of it, other than to say it looks like it’s had some botched plastic surgery and ended up with a pigmy elephant’s nose.
The rear is very damn nice though, that really surprised me!
I think Peugeot’s CC range is looking better and better, more fluid in shape as the generations go on, this one is a looker I think.
I just hope they pep up the ‘top’ model though as with the 207cc turbo model, it feels slower to drive than the older 206cc 2 litre model did back to back.
