Suzuki Australia has just taken delivery of its 2009 RM85 and its had a little freshen-up. Sporting bold new graphics, the RM85 is a junior motocross racer that features Suzuki’s race proven technology.
The RM85 is powered by an 85cc, two-stroke, liquid-cooled engine and features a smooth-shifting six-speed transmission, with a long clutch lever, allowing for easy gear changes, making it a good choice for budding motocross stars.
Starting in 2009, 85cc two-stroke and 150cc four-stroke motorcycles will compete in separate classes in the Junior Australian Motocross Championship, and according to Suzuki, “the RM85 is ready to lead the pack”.
Suzuki has ensured that taller riders are also catered for, with the RM85L. If you’re a little on the lanky side and opt for the ‘L’, your new racer will come equipped with larger diameter wheels and a longer wheelbase and swingarm.
The 2009 RM85 and RM85L are now available from Suzuki dealers across the country for a RRP of $5,550* and $5,890* respectively.

very nice bike. but it still looks like its a 2001 year model. suzuki 85s need to make it look a little more modern when it comes to the bike its self. other than that, suzuki has allways made a great bike. you can never judge a bike by how it looks:)
