You’ve seen the video, now scope these high-resolution pics of Chevrolet’s latest performance flagship, the Corvette ZR1, rocketing its way around Germany’s Nurburgring Nordschliefe .
Chevrolet is understandably chuffed about the ZR1’s recent 7:26 Nordschliefe lap record and while everybody from Nissan to Lexus to Audi are now racing (har har) to eclipse the Corvette ZR1’s best time, the folks at Chevy have decided to enjoy the moment and celebrate the ZR1’s achievements by releasing this quartet of images of the supercharged, 476kW lightweight monster in action around the Green Hell. I’m a GT-R fan and I hope the V-spec goes quicker again but GM deserve some serious credit. 7:26 in a RWD torque-laden monster is damn impressive.
