There’s much more to the Geneva Motor Show than just new models and concepts from the mainstream brands – check-out the 550 Adventure from Brabus.

Brabus rolled out a tricked-up G-wagon at the Frankfurt Motor Show just months ago, but this Geneva debutant is even more extreme.

And that includes the engine, with the twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 developed to deliver 405kW/800Nm. That’s sufficient for zero to 100km/h in just 6.7 seconds and a top speed north of 200km/h.

Very impressive as the Brabus G 500 is hardly a lightweight – underbody protection, a winch, electrically adjustable suspension, extra lighting and a bonnet scoop all stacking on extra kgs.

Best known for its work with Mercedes-Benz products, in Geneva, Brabus is also exhibiting its version of the Maserati Levante SUV.

Stay tuned to TMR for more from the Geneva Motor Show, and check out the gallery for more 550 pics.
