A further update for Infiniti’s Q50 sedan will debut this week at the Geneva Motor Show.

The pic shows a slightly altered front-end with a revised bumper and new fog-lights.

Infiniti says in Geneva we will also see an overhauled interior.

But the big news is underneath – the Q50 set to debut a second generation of Infiniti’s steer-by-wire Direct Adaptive steering. According to Infiniti, the latest version is smoother, more responsive and has been adapted along the lines of autonomous operation.

It’s part of ‘ProPilot Assist’ – a new system which wraps-up autonomous technology (also including active lane-keeping, smart cruise control and forward emergency braking) – which Infiniti says will be the platform for future autonomous drive features.

No changes under the bonnet, with the range-topping model enjoying the ‘VR’ version of the twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine.

Stay tuned to TMR for more from the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
