The new E-Class Cabriolet is on its way, and Benz has given us a first glimpse with a covered-up example popping up in timelines on social media this week.
To keep the embers burning, Mercedes again took to social media shortly after the teaser image was made public with a second teaser involving the E-Class cabrio’s folding fabric roof.
The roof can be folded in around 20 seconds, and is housed in a cover behind the two rear seats.
Beyond that, details are yet to emerge for the new cabriolet, which will shortly join the existing sedan, wagon, coupe and All-Terrain wagon in Benz’s 2017 E-Class range.
Sales are expected to begin for overseas markets in the second half of this year, although timing for Australia is unclear at this stage.
More will be revealed at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
