Toyota has given the Camry range a few tweaks, adding standard satellite navigation to the limited edition RZ and mid-grade Atara S variants.

Satellite navigation has also been added to the options list for the volume-selling Camry Altise as a $700 upgrade.

The navigation system has been adopted from higher-spec Camry variants and includes a 7.0 inch touchscreen, SUNA live traffic updates, voice recognition, six-speakers, and DAB+ digital radio.

"Camry has been Australia's preferred mid-size vehicle for more than two decades. It's a family favourite that also offers clear bottom-line benefits for business owners," Toyota Australia sales and marketing director, Tony Cramb said.

"This upgrade reflects Toyota's commitment to continuous and ongoing improvement of Camry's design, quality and specification."

The Camry Atatra S features include a powered driver’s seat, 17-inch alloy wheels, climate control, and a choice of either a 135kW/235Nm 2.5 litre four-cylinder engine, or a 151kW/213Nm petrol-electric hybrid.

The limited edition Camry RZ is based on the entry-level Altise model, but includes special features like 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels, sports suspension, and a dual-outlet exhaust plus sport-styled bumpered borrowed from the Atara range, a sports grille and rear lip spoiler.

On the inside the RZ picks up dual-zone climate-control, a three-spoke steering wheel, RZ-branded front floor mats plus keyless entry and start. The RZ is available only with the four-cylinder petrol engine.

Limited to just 700 units the Camry RZ is priced from $29,190 plus on-road costs, with the Camry Atara S price rising by $700 to accommodate the addition of satellite navigation, now priced from $30,190 (plus on-roads) for the petrol engine and $33,190 (plus on-roads) for the hybrid variant.
