The Paris Motor Show is rarely a quiet event as far as new releases go, but if recent reports are accurate then we could have one more high-performance vehicle to drool over - the Audi RS6 Sedan.

Spy shots (you can see them here) are all we have to date, but given the snapped example is running around undisguised it’s a sure bet that the sedan variant of Audi’s ballistic wagon is ready to roll.

October is just around the corner, so the wait is almost over. Unless Audi pulls a ’swifty’ on us, and a decent one at that, it’s likely the RS6 sedan will feature the same twin-turbo V10 mill that endows the wagon with supercar-like powers. Photos - and rumours - indicate that while the mechanical differences may be minor the RS6 sedan may feature visual updates slated for the rest of the A6 range.
