Ahead of its official unveiling in Berlin on the first of September, Skoda has rolled out another carefully curated glimpse of its upcoming Kodiaq SUV.

Designed to showcase the attention to detail and design highlights of Skoda’s first three-row SUV, the up-close images reveal the finer details of the grille and headlights, tail lights, wheels, and a sweeping glance of the sculpted bodysides.

Skoda also boasts that the Kodiaq will have the largest boot in its class, with 720 litres of storage as a five-seater growing to a maximum of 2065 litres.

European-spec will feature third row seating as an option, as well as a folding front passenger seat which allows for objects up to 2.9 metres long to be carried within the cabin.

New online infotainment systems, called Skoda Connect, include information-based Infotainment Online, and Care Connect allowing remote vehicle access, and emergency call services in the event of an accident.

Safety systems will extend to surround-view cameras including front and rear wide-angle lenses to help see around corners, and Tow Assist which can take over steering to reverse a trailer.

The latest images, which follow Skoda’s first teaser sketches, confirm that the Kodiaq will closely align with the VisionS concept shown at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.
