Honda is preparing to add two new Limited Edition cars to its Australian lineup, bolstered by the success of the CR-V Limited Edition, which launched in June.
Both the City light sedan and HR-V compact SUV will be given the Limited Edition treatment.
In the case of the HR-V the Limited Edition pack boasts $3200 worth of added value for just $1500 extra compared to the regular HR-V VTi.
Limited Edition features include 17-inch alloy wheels, rear park sensors, front fog lamps, side steps, and ‘Limited Edition’ badging.
The City Limited Edition adds in $4000 of extra equipment to the top-spec VTi-L model including standard metallic paint, rear park sensors, Limited Edition badging, a sports grille and Honda’s Modulo sports pack incorporating a rear wing spoiler, front and rear under spoilers, and side skirts.
“Over the years, Honda’s Limited Edition models have provided a strong value proposition for customers cross-shopping against other brands,” Honda Australia Director, Mr. Stephen Collins said.
“After strong customer interest and the success of this year’s CR-V Limited Edition, we’re now extending the offer across the City and popular HR-V.”
Pricing for the City Limited Edition is $22,990 plus on-road costs, or just $1,600 more than a standard VTi-L. The HR-V Limited Edition starts at 26,490 with metallic and pearlescent paint adding an extra $575.
