Foton has increased the appeal of its Tunland pickup in the Australian market by “shouting the bar” with drive-away pricing during July.
An offer to ‘shout the bar’ will normally get the attention of a tradie, especially as in this instance, it’s the offer of a free towbar pack…
Foton has recognised that most of its customers request a towbar pack for their Tunland utes, so the carmaker is adding towbars as a no-cost option this month.
Fitment of the towbar pack is free at a Foton dealer, and the offer includes the bar, tow ball, and wiring harness.
The offer applies to dual-cab 4X2 and 4X4 Tunland models (while stocks last), with prices starting from $27,990 drive-away for vehicles purchased and delivered in July.
"A tow bar is one of the most popular accessories fitted to our Tunland Utes so offering this for free for a limited time enhances the appeal and interest in our products, particularly for tradies and buyers looking for a tough and economical tow vehicle," Foton Australia General Manager, Alex Stewart, said.
“There's no better value workhorse ute package on the market at the moment and buyers are starting to recognise Tunland and the potential it offers."
The Tunland boasts a 2.5 tonne towing capacity, along with a one-tonne payload.
Power comes from the reputable Cummins-supplied 2.8 litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, matched with a five-speed manual transmission.
Safety features in the Tunland include rear parking sensors, anti-lock brakes, dual front airbags and electronic brake-force distribution.
The 2016 Foton Tunland with free towbar pack offer is available now, backed by Foton’s three-year, 100,000km new vehicle warranty and roadside assistance.
